Life in the Sixth Form

Enrichment Opportunities

We pride ourselves on the fact that every Sixth Form student at Eaton Bank receives one-to-one guidance and mentoring to help secure their success and to guide them through their applications for university and alternative career pathways.

As a result of this holistic support, our students secure places at the most competitive universities or take up sought after apprenticeships or career progression options.

Individual curriculum areas also provide extra support and guidance, including Sixth Form dedicated use of their specialist facilities or booster classes and seminars.

Enrichment Opportunities

The enrichment opportunities on offer at Eaton Bank 6th Form are second to none; personal development, work related learning and leadership skills are given a high priority, given the proven positive impact which this has on future lives and University applications.

Our students display an impressive social conscience and do a lot to help younger students through peer mentoring and coaching. Students also volunteer in the local community and make the most of work experience opportunities.

There really is something for everyone with EPQ, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, theatre visits, sports leadership opportunities, performing arts workshops and working with our feeder primary schools.

In addition to these regular opportunities, we also benefits from partnerships with local charities, which in turn, leads to opportunities for our Sixth Form students to take part in fundraising and charity work.

Access specialised learning facilities
Students at Eaton Bank Sixth Form benefit from a bespoke Sixth Form Centre with separate study and recreational areas, computer suite, outdoor space and coffee shop. We also have a recording studio, specialist art textiles and ceramics facilities, dance and drama studios, well equipped science laboratories (including two brand new state of the art labs) and sports facilities.

Enjoy yourself!
Whether it’s socialising in the Sixth Form Centre, taking part in staff v Sixth Form Dodgeball, braving fancy dress days or just relaxing over a coffee and cake, Sixth form life makes it easy for you to develop fun and lasting friendships.
