Our Year 7 campers have returned from their Bushcraft residential adventure.
The students had an amazing time developing their survival skills, making shelters in the woods, cooking over fires and learning wilderness first aid. Bushcraft SOS, archery and (a new favourite!) tomahawk axe throwing were also enjoyed by the Year 7s. The Bushcraft food was delicious, apart from the “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!” challenge of eating a fish eye, which many of the Year 7’s bravely attempted!
Year 7 Learning and Progress Manager Mrs Andrews commented “New friendships have been formed and the students have worked together enthusiastically in all of the activities. The students’ behaviour and manners were fantastic and it was a pleasure taking the students on the trip.”
