Posted

Eaton Bank Academy Sixth Form students took part in a memorable visit to London to enjoy a tour of the Palace of Westminster, the Bank of England and trip to the front door of Number 10 Downing Street. The trip enabled Economic and Business Study students to enhance their understanding of a variety of issues relating to monetary policy and its impact on business and the economy.

Eaton Bank Academy student, Christian Hassell commented, “It was a day that I won’t forget in a hurry. Having the opportunity to walk through the high security gates and into Downing Street was incredible”. On his first ever visit to the capital, he enthused, “I was the official photographer for the day. Collecting shots of us all outside parliament and 10 Downing Street was just an amazing experience!”
