Ms Andrew’s form have taken part in a ‘Reverse Advent’ with a focus on giving to others during Christmas. The students chose to support the New Life Church Christmas Hamper appeal, which aims to collect enough food and gifts to make up 350 Christmas hampers for people in need in the local area.
The Year 9 students organised and delivered assemblies, and decorated boxes to deliver to all Year 8 and 9 tutor groups. Over a week Eaton Bank Academy students donated a fantastic amount of food and gifts, filling approximately 10 Christmas hampers.
Ms Andrew commented “I am really proud of my entire tutor group who demonstrated such commitment to a very worthwhile cause. Their generosity and enthusiasm has been inspiring and we are delighted to have contributed 10 hampers to the New Life Church appeal.”
