Eaton Bank Academy has hosted a Primary Science Challenge for Mossley, Marlfields, Havannah and Woodcocks Well Primary Schools.
Each primary school submitted a team of 4 young scientists from year 5. The students had the opportunity to experience real laboratory conditions and work on five different experiments.
All the teams were marked on the number of correct observations made throughout the afternoon, with the winners prize awarded to the team from Havannah.
Eaton Bank Academy Science teacher Mrs Stone commented “All students were fantastic scientists and had a great afternoon. They particularly enjoy the opportunity to visit Eaton Bank Academy and work in a fully equipped lab and use scientific equipment such as Bunsen burners.”
