All the Eaton Bank 3D design students had the opportunity to look around the Siemens factory on 28th September, celebrating National Manufacturing Day.  The students were able to walk across the production area, whilst learning from Charlotte and Jack, two of the apprentices, about the products Siemens manufacture.

In the customer Experience Centre, the students listened to a very informative talk about how Siemens have embraced the concept of sustainability to achieve impressive goals within the company.

A final activity involved rotating around a room in groups, to discuss with members of the Siemens staff the various roles within the company (whilst enjoying some tasty refreshments!).  Thank you to Suzanne Edwards, Simone Pearcy and all the staff from Siemens who made us so welcome.
