Friends of Eaton Bank will be offering Christmas Cookery Classes to parents in partnership with Springboard. A qualified Chef will be delivering five classes on a Monday evening from 6.30pm – 8.30pm (starting Monday 11th November) in our Food and Nutrition facility.
On the course you will learn how to cook a new recipe, from scratch, using fresh ingredients each week. Amongst other things, you will learn how to make a traditional Sage and Onion Stuffing (not using Paxo), Dauphinoise Potatoes, Festive Canapes and fresh Mince Pies and how to mull your own wine. You take home the dish you create each week and in addition, the chef will also demonstrate a range of other culinary skills and recipes, all of which you will get to taste.
These classes are funded through the ESFA, however to raise much needed funds for our PTA we are asking attendees for a recommended donation of £30.00 for the five classes. Participants must be over the age of 19 and be able to commit to all five classes.
Places are limited and can be booked through Parent Pay, early booking recommended – if you have any questions, please contact Bethany Messham
