Year 9 student Keira Barry has attended a prestigious Football Association National Performance Camp (NCP). The NCP engages the most talented players across the country in a development programme providing expert support in all areas of the game. The NCPs are for players identified as having ‘international’ potential and provide players with the opportunity to train and play with high-level players from around the country.
During the camp Keira took part in high level football training sessions and attended tactical and communication skills sessions with the FA. Keira, who currently plays for Man Utd Academy, also participated in various team building activities and received social media training.
Keira’s long term ambition to play for Man Utd and be capped for England – we all wish her the best of luck!
