Congleton Rotary Art Competition Winner

Congratulations to Molly-Mae Quinn (Year 8) who has won the Rotary Art Competition Year 7 to 9 category.  The annual competition attracted entrants from all the schools in the local area and was themed ‘My Favourite Season’.  Molly-Mae chose Spring as her favourite season and won the Year 7 to 9 category with her fantastic picture of a rabbit in a field of daffodils.

The runner up in the Year 7 to 9 category was Year 9 student Erin Shaw and the following students also received certificates for their work: Sophie Dale, Molly Matthews, Molly-Mae Hodson, Lucy Pritchard, Colbia Clutton, Emily Stanforth and Emelia Meade.

Art teacher Mrs Nixon commented “all the students worked very independently and gave up their own time after school to produce lovely pieces of artwork. They interpreted the seasonal theme very creatively and should be very proud of their work.”
