Representatives from The Cheshire Army Cadet Force have presented BTEC certificates to twenty Eaton Bank Academy Students.

The Year 9 and 10 students achieved their BTEC qualification at an Army Outreach trip delivered by the Army Cadet Force.  In July 2015 the students spent two days at Fox Barracks in Chester participating in a number of Army training tasks including drill, PT, navigation skills, ration cooking and also spending the night sleeping in the woods under a plastic sheet.  The students then moved to an outdoor activity centre where they took on a range of different activities including rock climbing, high rope and raft building.

Director of Year 12 Mr Bollan commented “The trip was an amazing and unique experience for our students. They developed essential team working, leadership and organisation skills. Everyone enjoyed the experience immensely and we would all like to thank the Cheshire Army Cadet Force for visiting Eaton Bank Academy to present our students with their BTEC certificates”
