Age UK Cheshire East has unveiled a new anniversary logo to celebrate its 30th birthday, designed by Year 12 student Victoria Bromley.
To mark the 30th anniversary of Age UK Cheshire East, the charity launched a competition to design a new logo. A number of designs were presented to the judging panel, with Victoria’s logo chosen as a unanimous winner.
Damon Taylor, Chief Executive of the local charity said “We were really excited to be working with Eaton Bank Academy in developing this design. It is great that we have got younger people thinking creatively about what being an older person means. We felt that the design by Victoria sums up very neatly what being an older person should all be about.”
Victoria was presented with a prize and certificate for her design at a ceremony which was also attended by her parents, Fiona Bruce MP, Head of Art, Design & Technology Mr Moulding and Headteacher, Mr O’Neill.
