Eaton Bank Academy

The progress of all our students is monitored regularly by tutors, subject teachers and our Learning and Progress Managers.

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team provide support for students with special learning needs, ensuring that they are supported across the curriculum to be able to access, enjoy and progress effectively in their lessons, alongside their peers.

Several students, including those with a statement of additional needs, are given targeted support in lessons by experienced and specialist support staff and Learning Support Assistants.

The SEND department actively engages with parents of our students with additional needs, holding informal engagement events such as coffee mornings throughout the school terms, giving us the informal opportunity to look at progress.

The SEND department also hosts a specialist area where students can go during break and lunchtimes. There is also a special lunch club held in the canteen on Friday lunchtimes, where students can network and enjoy time with their friends.

For more information about the SEND department, please contact Miss L Griffen l.griffen@eatonbank.org (SENDCO)  To read our Local Offer, please visit the resources page of our website.
