Exams Manager

We are seeking to appoint an Exams Manager who will organise, manage and run all internal and external school exams.

About you:
You must have excellent organisational and time management skills with evidence of ability to manage own workload and work independently. Experience of dealing with a large volume of data and information, prioritising workloads and meeting strict deadlines. Experience of maintaining high standards of accuracy and having a calm methodical approach to work whilst working under pressure. Previous experience of Exams Management is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Pastoral Manager

Eaton Bank Academy has a vacancy for a Pastoral Manager who will provide excellent support for the behaviour and welfare of students and encourage their academic achievement.

Qualifications, skills and personal qualities required include:

  • 5 A*-C GCSEs, including Maths and English
  • Proven pastoral skills experience including problem solving, taking initiative and sharing information to work as an effective team player within an organisation.
  • Experience of working with aged 11-16 students in an educational environment
  • An understanding of curriculum pathways, learning, behaviour and disciplinary strategies
  • A positive role model with a commitment to the ethos and educational values of the school
  • Experience of working with external agencies to support students wellbeing and welfare
  • Good organisational and time management skills with evidence of ability to manage own workload and work independently


Term Time Only (plus staff inset days)

37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 16:00,

Fridays 8:00 – 15:30  

Salary £20652 – £23236 pro rata (Actual starting salary £17741) plus access to an excellent final salary pension scheme.

Teaching Assistants

Eaton Bank Academy has vacancies for energetic and committed Teaching Assistants to support the development and education of pupils aged 11-16 with special education needs. This is a challenging but rewarding role which would suit an excellent communicator able to develop supportive relationships and help motivate students to achieve.

Salary £16473 – £17952 gross pro rata (Actual salary £10708 – £11670 gross) plus access to an excellent career average pension scheme.
