Eaton Bank Academy has been awarded the Incorporated Society of Musicians’ Silver certificate in GCSE music which means that that more than 15% of all of the schools’ GCSE students achieved an A*- C grade in music. Head of Performing Arts Mrs Venables said “This award reflects the popularity of music GCSE at Eaton Bank Academy and recognises the excellent work of our GCSE students. We were awarded the Bronze Certificate last year, so we are delighted to receive the Silver Certificate in 2017.”
The certificate is supported by the ISM Trust (www.ismtrust.org), the charitable arm of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. The Trust was created in 2015 to promote and support music education and music itself.
