Rotary Young Chef of the Year

Congratulations to Thea Emery-Allen (Year 9) who has been presented with her Rotary Young Chef Competition trophy.  Thea won the annual cooking competition held between Congleton High Schools and will now compete in the District Semi Final at Bury College.

Thea’s winning dish was; French trimmed chicken breast with parmentier potatoes, a celeriac puree with a black current jus drizzled over the top and covalo nero, which is  a black cabbage. For dessert she made a deconstructed cheese lemon cake.
